Rory Donnelly

Following 30+ years in roles that included CEO (Co-Founder), Managing Director, SVP Europe, in both the corporate and start-up worlds, Rory now spends his time as a Scaling Up Coach and Board Director helping business leaders and their teams achieve their growth goals.

His professional career started out with four years in Japan, then a year in Germany and from his current base in France he has been a bit of a nomad for the past 20 years or so always on the move for work. During that time, Rory acquired oceans of experience, from setting-up two companies from scratch in France and one in Belgium to co-Founding a Start-up in the tech sector in the UK and everything in between. He has been in leadership roles since his late twenties in consumer entertainment, publishing, and tech worlds where he learned and implemented various performance growth strategies and tools in different market sectors and cultures. 

Rory has had a Coach himself for the past 15 years, was a member of Vistage for close to 10 years and is a very passionate learner. It’s that passion which led him to become a Scaling Up coach and wanting to help entrepreneurs on their growth paths by teaching them the Scaling Up methodology and equally help them learn from his mistakes and experience he has acquired over the past 30 years. 

Rory is married to his wife Emer, and they have three children. He loves his sport and is most proud of having been the brainchild and driver behind a charity fund-raising event which raised over €500K for underprivileged kids.
